Frazzled and filth all over smeared
Her eyes, twinkled like the twilight stars
Her nose, drizzling like a uncapped tap,
Wind rushing through her unkempt hair

Tucked inside the bosom of a kind soul
Out came the whites and a toothy grin
Lo and behold, the rains came down heavy
Prayers, still answered duly
